RMPJC Summer Celebration Fundraiser, August 17th

Where: 6803 Jay Road, Boulder, 80301

There will be a sign that says "Farm Fest" which will be visible from both directions. There is a green Peace Flag at the entrance.

Ticket Suggested price $20 but any donation, smaller or larger, gratefully accepted. (This is our major fundraiser for the year. We will not be having a Peacemaker of the Year Event this year.)


We are looking forward to seeing you at our wonderful Summer Celebration fundraiser 3 - 8 PM, August 17th at the beautiful Andrews Family Organic Farm, 6803 Jay Road! Great music with our Headliner, the internationally acclaimed Joe Jencks(joejencks.com), about whom Holly Near said “In these times, we need the singers who will do the homework and tell the stories! Joe Jencks is among the fine next generation singers who are ready to carry on the tradition as well as look into the future”

The Celebration will also feature local musicians Matt Nicodemus, and Edden Rosenberg and Emma Hempen; Olde Time music for dancing with Elena Klaver, Doug Rippey, Duffy Keith, Birdie Smock and Sean Gambrel; and will conclude with a fun song circle celebration of Woodstock's 50th anniversary! (So brush up on all the songs you love from that era and be sure to bring along the words for your favorite songs!)

There will be Drawings for unique prizes including: A Bird Walk with Elena Klaver; A Native Plant Walk with Ross Rodgers; A 4-pack of Local Organic Asher Beer; two pounds of special Starbucks Coffee; AND, an Incredible Evening with the Delightful, Remarkable, Unstoppable former Senator Dorothy Rupert!

Great local, organic food and beverages will be featured! And there will be free local beer and wine! You can take a tour of the beautiful, unique Andrews Family Farm where in addition to traditional organic crops, fascinating experimental organic crops are being tested.

*Kid friendly (lawn games and possible hay ride)

*Song circle: bring musical instruments, rhythm instruments, song sheets / words to your favorite songs! / copies of Rise Up Singing, etc.

*Bring organic bug repellent. It is mosquito season !
