1. Leave A Legacy With Your Will: Four Types of Bequests

One of the simplest way to leave your legacy to support the Rocky Mountain Center for Peace
and Justice, and our mission, vision, and work, into the future, is to specify a gift for the Peace
and Justice Center in your will. Here are examples of language for four of the most common types of charitable gifts people make using their will. Please consult your own legal and financial professionals before making this type of gift. The
staff at the Rocky Mountain Center for Peace and Justice will be pleased to assist you with
forms and navigating these details, recognizing that we are not legal or financial professionals.

A. Specific Bequest
“I give to the Rocky Mountain Center for Peace and Justice of Boulder, Colorado, tax-
exempt number 74-2302470, the sum of $__________ (OR all my right, title and interest
in the following described property ______________) to be used in such manner as the
Board of Directors of said organization shall, in its sole discretion, determine.”

B. Residuary Bequest
“I give to the Rocky Mountain Center for Peace and Justice of Boulder, Colorado, tax-
exempt number 74-2302470, the residue of my estate to be used in such manner as the

C. Proportional Bequest

exempt number 74-2302470 [A STATED PERCENTAGE OR A FRACTION OF THE

organization shall, in its sole discretion, determine.”

D. Contingent Bequest
