Action Alert! HB26-1337 is up for a hearing on Weds. April 22!


Colorado Representatives have introduced HB26-1337, a bill that would force nuclear energy on Colorado by legally mandating the development of at least one nuclear energy project by 2040.


This bill, if passed, would charge Colorado taxpayers $20 million to subsidize the development of nuclear power plants, which are being pushed by tech giants to generate power for data centers, all while threatening Colorado's ability to provide clean water for its residents and perpetuating the creation of “sacrifice zones.”

Nuclear power is anything but “clean”; it produces radioactive waste, relies on uranium mining, and puts frontline communities and workers at risk.
