With species rapidly disappearing and global temperatures rising, there is more urgency than ever to act on the ecological crises we face. In her latest book Green Buddhism: Practice and Compassionate Action in Uncertain Times, Dr. Kaza offers guidance on how people and communities can live a more sustainable life on our one and only home. Dr. Stephanie Kaza is a long-time lover of trees, a practicing Zen Buddhist, and an environmentalist. She is Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies at University of Vermont, and holds a M.Div. from Starr King School for the Ministry. Dr. Kaza is the author of Mindfully Green – a Personal and Spiritual Guide to Whole Earth Thinking and has spent her career exploring the intersection of religion and ecology. More pertinent than ever, her intimate and thoughtful explorations demonstrate the possibility of ecological sanity in our time.
*Dr. Kaza books will be for sale after her talk and there will be a book signing.
