Protest of Rocky Flats as a "Wildlife Refuge" September 15th

When: Saturday, September 15th, 1 - 3:30 pm Where: U.S. EPA Region 8, 1595 Wynkoop St, Denver Join ex-workers, scientists, public health advocates, and community members to keep the Rocky Flats Nuclear SuperFund Buffer Zone closed. While US Fish and Wildlife celebrates a "grand opening," we will take a stand against opening the site without any cleanup, without adequate testing, and against the will of the surrounding communities! This is an awareness-raising event. Come learn more about the history of Rocky Flats and why opening it for recreation is dangerous and negligent, why there are multiple lawsuits underway to try to keep it closed, and help spread the word.
