10/25 Nuclear Free Pueblo Day of Action

Join us for a Nuclear-Free Pueblo Day of Action on October 25th!

Since 2021, Pueblo County Commissioners have been considering putting a nuclear power plant in Pueblo to replace the Unit 3 Coal plant. Furthermore, this year the Colorado Legislature set a dangerous precedent by passing HB1040, a bill that erroneously declares nuclear power to be clean energy. This is a dangerous idea for many reasons. Pueblo’s County Commissioners, as well as city and state elected representatives of Pueblo, need to hear that nuclear power is not the right choice for Colorado. This is why we are working in coalition with our friends in Pueblo to make sure this nuclear proposal does not move forward. Join us in Pueblo on Saturday, October 25th for a full day of action!
