Thank you for attending the MLK Day Rally! Pictures from the rally

What an inspiration to see so many of you at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Rally on Monday the 15th - definitely one of our coldest days so far this winter!! It was heartwarming to see you all gathered together! You demonstrated your commitment to justice, and made clear that another world is indeed possible! Thank you so much to all of our performers and speakers for braving the cold and sharing your words and music with us - that, too, was heartwarming and inspiring. We want to assure you that we will arrange to have an indoor venue available for the rally next year, in case we again have intense winter weather -- it is January in Colorado, after all! With great appreciation! Betty,

Take Action to Stop Illegal Surveillance

URGENT: In just a few days, Congress will move to codify into law the unconstitutional, mass electronic surveillance of all Americans, for the first time in U.S. history. They'll do this despite the backlash of millions of people who called for an end to these programs in the years since they were first revealed, and the security and intelligence experts who have said these programs make us less safe. But there's a proposed amendment that would close a loophole that allows the NSA to spy on Americans without probable cause or a warrant. TAKE ACTION NOW: Tell your lawmakers to support an amendment to close the "backdoor search" loophole that allows the NSA to spy on Americans.
