Putting a Spotlight on the "The Facility" 10/1

When: Friday, October 1st at 6:30pm

Where: Aurora ICE Center at 3130 N. Okaland St. Aurora, CO, 80010

Join local organizers and the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) to call attention to harmful immigrant detention happening right in our backyard. Please join our allies October 1st at 6:30pm at the GEO immigrant detention facility in Aurora for a screening of “The Facility” and a community vigil directly following the film.

“The Facility” is a documentary produced by Jeremy Flood that sheds light on the personal consequences of for-profit detention and the broken immigration system in the U.S. The film will be screened outside of the detention facility, followed by a community vigil outside the front gates of GEO. We would appreciate your support in calling for an end to immigrant detention and to stand in solidarity with those housed inside the GEO facility. Gather on the South side of the facility on 30th St. Food and drinks will be provided.

This is an event organized by the community, for the community! Let’s show up in numbers to demand an end to the criminalization of human migration.
