Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center supports those who have been impacted by violence by white supremacists in Charlottesville, as they boldly challenged racism in their community. Last week's violence is a vivid reminder that overt displays of racism are rising in the U.S., as well as anti-Jewish sentiment and actions.

Where: Eben G. Fine Park 101 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder

Join us at the park for some summer-time fun! Feel free to bring your friends, dogs, outdoor games, and musical instruments. We will offer vegan snacks and refreshments, largely donated from local, organic farms.  The event will be a great opportunity to learn about the work at RMPJC, network, relax, and enjoy the weather.

Where: Canyon and Broadway, Boulder

We'll carry signs opposing wars against Russia, Syria, North Korea, etc. Let's be visible in our opposition to war! We'll have some signs or bring you own. JOIN Boulder Showing Up for Racial Justice for a 6 session training. 

Safety Pin Box is run by and for Black women and femmes who work to make sure white allyship is accountable to those most impacted by white supremacy and has the highest impact in changing culture. 
 

Sessions will start September 20th and run every other Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.

Last year, U.S. President Obama signed a loophole-ridden GMO labeling bill into law. Now the USDA is deciding how to implement it, and has opened a public comment period until August 25.


As you might have guessed, Monsanto and the junk food industry have their lobbyists out in full force. They're once again teaming up to try to keep us all in the dark about what we're eating.

Bill “Terry” Doub died peacefully August 3, 2017 in San Francisco with family and friends by his side. He was born July 9, 1935 in Oakland, CA and grew up in Piedmont, CA. Bill loved rock climbing, mountaineering, and skiing.  He began these activities at age 12 and continued doing them in the United States and Canada for most of his life.
