Film and Panel Discussion: Radical Labor, April 25th

When: Wednesday, April 25th, 6:30 pm - 8 pm Where: Hale 270, CU Boulder, Pleasant St, Boulder CU-Boulder College of Media, Communication and Information, and RMPJC co-host a screening and panel discussion of Gino Canella's documentary with SEIU Local 105, Radical Labor. Following the film, community organizers and researchers will discuss the renewed interest and energy around unions in the U.S., the politics of protest, and the networking of movements fighting for racial, economic, and gender justice. The event is free and open to the public.

Help end the military draft system in America! April 19th

When: Thursday, April 19th, 3 -5 pm (doors open at 2:30 pm) Where: Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Schlessman Lobby, Entrance 5, 2001 Colorado Blvd, Denver Testify at the 'open-mic' hearing of the National Commission on Military, National and Public Service and protest the continuation of compulsory draft registration and the Selective Service System. The National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service is holding a total of nine public hearings throughout the country. Those wishing to express their opinions to the commission will be able to do so by making a two-minute-maximum spoken statement and/or through submitting written testimony (see second link below).

Memorial Gathering for Sunni Eckhardt, April 28th

Anti-War Demonstration, April 14th

When: Saturday, April 7th, 11am - 12pm Where: Canyon and Broadway, Boulder, CO We'll carry signs opposing wars against Russia, Syria, North Korea, Afghanistan, etc. Let's be visible in our opposition to war!
