Science Compromised in the Cleanup at Rocky Flats

Critique of the work of the scientists who concluded that plutonium left in the environment at Rocky Flats will be "relatively immobile," a view that profoundly affected the nature and extent of the cleanup done at the site. My critique is a direct  response to "Science-Based Cleanup of Rocky Flats," published in Physics Today (Sept. 06), an  article by several of these scientists.
