Update on Rep. Kucinich's Resolution on Impeachment

In a strange maneuver, Republicans joined with some Democrats to allow a discussion of Kucinich's impeachment resolution.

However, Democrats then countered by offering a motion to refer the proposal to the House Judiciary Committee for further study, effectively preventing a debate on the House floor.

That motion passed by a largely party-line vote of 218-194. See the whole story in the Washington Post.
