We're going to have music and poetry nights at the Peace Center
starting February 19th and most every Friday night thereafter.  The
events will be "Play or Pay", so bring music and/or poetry to share
or pay $3.00 to listen and watch.  Light refreshments will be available
and you are welcome to bring goodies to share if you want to.  The
"show" starts at 7:30 PM and goes until... well, until we're through.
Please pass this message on to any musicians, poets or other folks
you know who may want to come.

Colorado legislative hearing to limit pay day lenders to 36% interest rate (HB10-1351). In Colorado pay day borrowers now pay an average interest rate of 318% per year. It's a travesty and a ripoff of the poor and working class. Hearing is @1:30 p.m. at the House Judiciary Committee at the Capitol. To carpool from Boulder, call Carolyn at 303-444-6981x2.
