Friday, May 23  BOULDER   Wish you were eating healthier foods and had more energy? Want to be lose weight and avoid chronic diseases? Care about the planet's health and the treatment of animals? Concerned about global warming and peak oil? Learn how easy it is to reach your goals for health and help the planet and our animal friends at the same time.  Introductory evening to the "Eat for a healthy you & a healthy planet" class.  7:15-8:15 p.m. at the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center, 3970 Broadway, Suite 105, Boulder. Attending the introductory evening does not obligate you to taking the course and is free. Course is $60-120 sliding scale for a six-week class (one two-hour class a week). . Thursday, May 27  BOULDER  "U.S. Policy and Iran: What Americans Need to Know". Former residents Hank Brusselback and Gaia Mike and locally based Iranians will discuss the current conflict between the U.S. and Iran and what we need to do about it. Brusselback and Mika will have just returned from a trip to Iran with the Fellowship of Reconciliation. At  7:30 p.m. at Humanities 1B50, CU.
