Saturday, April 5   BOULDER  Building Bridges: Life-Enhancing Communication: A Nonviolent Communication Workshop for Activists presented by Clayton Barker (recent CU grad, & student of Marshal Rosenberg) 10 AM - 4:30 PM at Room UMC 245 on the CU Campus, Boulder.  Parking available in the Euclid lot next to the UMC. $10 - $20 sliding scale; no one turned away for lack of funds. (please bring your lunch; snacks will be provided). Sunday, April 6  DENVER "Boycotts, Divestment, and Sanctions: Strategies for Change". The panel will discuss the possibilities of effecting change and creating justice for Palestinians through economic pressure and the use of boycotts, divestment, sanctions. Panel at  3:00 pm at the Conference Center, Regis University, Denver, 3333 Regis Blvd, Entrance 1, Parking Lot 5.. The panel will be followed  at 5 P.M. by a "working dinner" for those who would like to help organize a local campaign.

Wednesday, April 9  BOULDER  A Middle East Series Event: "Jews of Conscience and the Future of Israel and Palestine" with Professor Marc Ellis In 1998 Ellis was appointed Professor of American and Jewish Studies at Baylor University;  the next year he was named University Professor of American and Jewish Studies. In 1999 he founded Baylor University's Center for American and Jewish Studies, which was renamed The Center for Jewish Studies in 2006. Professor Ellis has authored sixteen books and edited five others, with a new book, Reading the Torah Out Loud: A Journey of Lament and Hope released this year, published by Augsburg Fortress Press. At 7 p.m. at Math 100, CU Boulder. Free.
